“Twisted Tales” Performance-Oriented Workshop

TWISTED TALES: A performance-oriented Workshop for students of B-Arch 5th semester Facilitator: Ar. Gururaj Manepalli; Organizer: Ar. Harshita Vangara Esteemed Judges: 1) MR. SYED OMER JALEEL,RTD. IAS; 2) MR. ANISH KURUVILLA, ACTOR, DIRECTOR; 3) MR. KAMAL KAMARAJU, ARCHITECT, ACTOR; 4) MR. D. UDAYA SHANKAR, CHAIRMAN, IIA, TELANGANA About the workshop: Mr. Gururaj Manepalli, an Architect by profession and an actor by passion has facilitated this workshop. His idea was to train the students in time management, building creativity, group discussion through performance based activity. He formed 5 teams of 11 students and gave each team a Theme, prop and a punch line for which the students had to perform a skit and enact. The performances were judged by experts and the best 3 performances were awarded “Best Skit” & 15 best performers were awarded across various categories (Best actor, Best director, Best costumes, Best set designer)
