As part of the BFA Sculpture program- Towards an Exhibition is a taught course in the eighth semester that culminates in an exhibition. Eleven students namely Bongoni Manichandana, Dhawale Vicky, Karnekoti Sai, M. Shravani, Thorti Sharath, Tingrikar Saisushma, VNS Srirama Ganesh, Yenugunde Govinda, Mahankali Pavankumar, NishtaShrimal, Sachitanand Sharma showcased their work in an exhibition titled ELEVEN at the Nehru Art Gallery in JNAFAU College of Fine Arts for three days i.e., from 22rd to 24th February 2023. The works exhibited were done during their final semester. They used various materials like metal, paper, wool, wood, stone, glass etc., and through a range of approaches like carving, cutting, casting, assembling, burning, drawing, crocheting, glass-blowing, and filming to express their ideas of life and the world they are in and raised pertinent questions on consciousness, survival, gaze, sustenance, and representation.
