Examination Branch:
The Director of Evaluation (DE) of the University is the head of the Examination Branch of the University. The Examination Branch functions directly under the overarching authority of the Vice–Chancellor of the University who is the competent authority to take final decisions regarding all the academic matters of the University.
The Examination Branch of the university is nerve center of the University that caters to the examination and evaluation needs of all the courses of all the colleges under the university.The primary objective of the section is the smooth conduct of all the examinations of the colleges and institutions of the university. Preparatory work for conducting examinations, evaluation of answer scripts, processing of the results, declaration and publishing the results, printing & issue of different types of certificates, the maintenance of student’s marks records etc. are done under the supervision of the Director of Evaluation in the examination section.It is continuously endeavored to ensure that all the activities of the section are strictly complied with the University academic regulations and practices.
As a leading and the first specialized University in the country in the area of Architecture and Fine Arts education, several first-of-its-kind innovative and best practices employing the state-of-art Digital Technologies are introduced at the Examination branch. All the aspects related to the examinations of the University that are successfully being implemented are invariably automated. To name a few, Online Distribution of question Papers of examinations, electronic results processing, online payment facility for various student services, quick transcripts (across the counter) service are carried out. The Examination branch of the University evaluates and declares results of nearly 50,000 answer books of students per year. The Examination branch makes continual efforts to strictly adhere to the time deadlines for declaration of results and all other student services.
