Dr Haripriya Ranjan, an alumni Architect of this University and an Urban Planner from the University of California had delivered a lecture on “Architectural history & Conservation of Bio-cultural Heritage” on 13th November 2017 at Auditorium, SPA, JNAFAU, which was organized by Department of Urban & Regional planning, SPA, JNAFAU.
She has done her doctoral and fellowship in UCLA, Berkeley in Urban and Regional Development. In Australia, she taught in Melbourne at Monash University. She is currently Associate Prof & Director, Research and Academic Programs, Australia India Institute, University of Melbourne.
Her Research lies at the intersection of Urban and Regional Development, Economic and Environmental History, Political Ecology and Natural Resource Management and has published various papers and articles in her fields of interest.
