Prof. Dr. Phani Sree Vagvala 

Director R&D Cell & Professor in Architecture

Prof. PhaniSree Vagvala holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from JNTU, Hyderabad, Masters in Landscape Architecture from SPA, New Delhi and Bachelors in Architecture from the erstwhile College of Fine Arts and Architecture, Hyderabad.

She has been working in the University for the past 30 years in various teaching and administrative roles.

She has an extensive administrative experience and worked as Head of the Department of Architecture, Facility services and Planning, Urban Planning, and Environmental Design programs. She was on deputation as Additional General Manager RITES LTD for three years. Before taking up the charge as Director, R & D Cell,she has worked as  Registrar JNAFAU for about four and half years.

Teaching has been her passion and especially    likes to explore design and teaching methodologies. She is teaching under Graduate and post graduate levels and guiding Ph.D. students.

She has actively been part of the curriculum development for various disciplines.She is currently Chairperson, Board of Studies of Facility services and Planning (B.Tech F.S.P). She is actively engaged  in promoting extra-curricular activities in the University and has organized several workshops and seminars.
