Bachelors of Fine Arts Applied Art and Visual Communications
The Department of Applied Art & Visual Communication:
(i) Offers a four-year degree programme leading to a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in Applied Art & Visual communication.
The programme is open to all those who have passed (10+2). The annual intake is 35. The academic programme consists of four years with a one year common foundation course in the basics of art, the remaining 6 semesters are devoted to professional training. The programme is a combination of Theory, Practical, Practical Training and Project works. The course structure involves fundamentals of advertising and design inputs such as Typography, Illustration, Media Design, Media Management and Photography. The students are sent for a practical media experience in studios & advertising agencies in the 4/2 semester. At the end of the fourth year, final semester; the students submit comprehensive project work and dissertation to complete the degree requirement.
The programme is designed to develop skills evaluated to Advertising Design, Media Design, Graphic Design, Web Design and Publishing Design etc. The Department organizes Annual Show/Exhibition where the Student works are displayed.

(ii) Offers a 2 years Master of Fine Arts (Applied Art & Visual Communication) Programme consisting of 4 Semesters.
(iii) Also offers a 3 years Master of Fine Arts (PTPG) (Applied Art & Visual Communication) Programme consisting of 6 Semesters.
