M. Tech Planning
The course is aimed to provide training in urban and regional planning with special emphasis on environment, human settlements and planning issues. On completion, most students go into practice as planners. The course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practice of planning and also to provide a range of choice for specialisised study within the field. The course aims to develop the candidate’s capacity to undertake a competent piece of planning research under supervision.
Eligibility:
Should have completed B.Arch/ B.Tech (Civil)/Masters degree in Economics or Geography, from a recognized university.
Course Structure:
The course is a full-time two-year programme that is divided into four semesters. The coursework includes internship and project work (Thesis).
Selection Procedure:
The students have to qualify in an entrance exam conducted by the State government.
