The Department of Animation & Visual Communication,

Offers a 4 year degree programme leading to a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in Animation & Visual communication.

The programme is open to all those who have passed (10+2) / Intermediate or its equivalent examination. The annual intake is 60. The academic programme consists of 4 years duration, with a 1 year common foundation course in the basics of art. The remaining 3 years are devoted to professional training with the combination of Theory, Demo, Practicals, Portfolios and Final Projects. The course structure involves fundamentals of Basic Animation Concepts, 2 Dimension, 3 Dimension and special effects. The students are sent for a practical experience in an Industry in the 4th year Second semester. At the end of 4th year final semester the students submit final project in 2D/3D and dissertation to complete the degree requirement.

The programme is designed to develop Aesthetics and inborn creative skills to produce a Project Animation Industry, Movies, Electronic Media, Feature Films etc.

The Department organizes Annual Shows, Seminars and Workshops National level and International level where the students are going to participate to display their Creativity and Aesthetics.
